Backyard

Out the backdoor f 2.0 @ 1/1600 (lensbaby)

So, of potential interest to [info]bumperfish, [info]purrmeow and [info]deviant_, I picked up a Lensbaby after work. It takes some getting used to, more from the metering aspect than the focal plane distortion. I'll be bringing it up to DC this weekend so, I should get an opportunity to completely overuse this. I also found that Nikon part DK-20 is a nice eyecup replacement on the D70. $2 more than the original part replacement to total $7, but it seems much more secure.

Does the eye cup work better for glasses?

It seems a bit better, yes. The rubber flange is flatter and wider, making it easier to get my eyeglasses against it. Plus, I don't know if I made this quite clear, it slides and clicks into the rails on either side of the viewfinder rather than the other one (DK-10?) which fits somewhat snug around the viewfinder, but doesn't quite secure to it, and thus becomes easily lost. I don't believe I'll have that problem with the new eye cup.
